The Ushiku Daibutsu is situated in the city of Ushiku in Japan. Completed in 1995, the figure is the third biggest statue on the planet, standing an aggregate of 120 meters (394 feet) high including the 10m (30 ft) base and a 10m (30 ft) high lotus stage.
